Epic Mickey släpps den 26 november
Disney har, sent omsider, tillkännagivit att Nintendo Wii-titeln Epic Mickey kommer att släppas i Europa den 26 november. Spelare i Nordamerika får spelet fyra dagar senare; den 30 november.
EA avslöjar My Garden till Nintendo 3DS
Electronic Arts EA Play-avdelning har tillkännagivit att de jobbar på en Nintendo 3DS-titel med arbetsnamnet My Garden, som kommer att släppas i samband med att konsolen lanseras. My Garden går ut på att spelaren ska skapa vackra trädgårdar.
Till sin hjälp har man över 100 olika blommor och växter samt en mängd olika föremål som man kan dekorera sina trädgårdar med. Sex olika miljöer kommer att finnas tillgängliga; från en snustorr öken till en grönskande regnskog och ett skogsbryn med en porlande bäck.
“With My Garden, our aim was simple: to make something beautiful that comes to life on the Nintendo 3DS like no other platform,” sade EA Plays Rod Humble. “We hope to offer a game that’s so immersive that it truly brings the delight of owning a garden to life through a visually stunning 3D experience.”
My Garden kommer alltså att släppas i samband med att Nintendo 3DS lanseras i västvärlden, vilket i dagsläget förväntas ske i mars nästa år. Du hittar de första bilderna från spelet här.
Feder: PlayStation 3 med Move är Wii HD
Ben Feder, verkställande direktör för Take-Two Interactive, har sagt till deltagare vid ett event för investerare att Wii HD redan existerar – i form av rörelsekontrollerna Kinect till Xbox 360 och Move till PlayStation 3. Han sade också att hans son inte vill ta hem vänner, då han skäms för att han inte har ett HD-system som Xbox 360 eller PS3.
“What Sony and Microsoft have really done with Kinect and Move, especially Move, is provide a bridge for guys that are used to playing the Wii system with the wand and bringing them over to a HD system,” sade Feder.
”The PS3 with Move, in my view, is the Wii HD system. I think maybe Mom isn’t playing, but the kids are ‘graduating,’ and Microsoft and Sony have both provided a bridge to bring them over.”
PlayStation Move släpps i Sverige idag, medan Microsoft Kinect släpps först den 10 november. Och Wii HD? I mitten av juni sade Michael Pachter, analytiker hos Wedbush Morgan, att han inte längre trodde att ett Wii HD kommer att släppas.

GoldenEye 007 PS360 är inte uteslutet
Julian Widdows, exekutiv producent för Wii-titeln GoldenEye 007 hos Eurocom, har sagt att om än osannolikt är det inte helt omöjligt att förstapersonsskjutaren kommer att släppas till PlayStation 3 och Xbox 360 någon gång i framtiden.
“We would really hope that everyone who wants to play it will go and play it this year,” sade Widdows. “We’ve spent so much time and effort, personal time and effort… You know, kids have been born! There’s a list of GoldenEye babies somewhere! This is the console we’ve made it for.”
Man kan dock aldrig veta med stora utgivare, erkänner Widdows, och konstaterar att det inte är helt omöjligt att spelet förr eller senare kommer att släppas till HD-konsolerna.
“Never say never. Who knows? Things happen, don’t they, with big publishers? But for the time being it’s all about the Wii, and that’s really how we hope people will go and experience it, because that’s how it’s been built. It’s not been built for the PS3 and Xbox 360, it’s been built for this.”
